One out of Three or Third Place in Renderosity’s 3D Dolls Contest

As you know, I recently partook in three contests that Renderosity held.

Meanwhile, all the winners are announced, and I am happy to tell you that I made third place in one of them: 3D Dolls Contest.

Sadly, you need an account to see all the lovely images, but take a look and enjoy them if you happen to have one. And do not forget to look at the other two contests and their winners: My Greatest Catch Contest and Pin-Up Poster Contest.

Sincerely yours

About Dolls, Pin-Ups, and My Greatest Catch

As you probably know by now, I regularly partake in Renderosity’s contests, either in words with my stories or with colors with my 3D artworks.

I hugely enjoy competing with all those fantastic artists while honing my skills and getting better with what I do.

Recently Renderosity has held many contests that are now up for voting; the results will be announced around Valentine’s day.

Rest in Peace 2020 or Happy New Year 2021

2020 was overall not a good year for humanity; personally, I cannot complain that much. And while I am in parts a narcissistic misanthrope, I care for enough humans in this world to not be an idiot. Thus, I behaved and was so far rewarded by karma.

Please, do not be an idiot that is spreading COVID-19. Stay strong and keep your beloved safe by staying home.

When, for once, humankind can prove that it is rightfully the dominating lifeform on this planet, you might even surprise a dormant misanthrope like me, who most often believes it would be better for the world’s sake if the gods would wipe us all out.

I wish you all a Happy New Year, and may it end better than it will start sadly for most of us.

Sincerely yours,
AbyssalEros

Dreams of Peace – Renderosity’s 2020 Holiday Contest

Recently, I contributed to this year’s Renderosity Holiday Contest, like last year. The votings have already started: Dreams of Peace – Renderosity’s 2020 Holiday Contest

As the contest is anonymous, I think I am not allowed to declare which contributions are from me.

I can only tell you that I participated in the writers and the 3D art contest.

However, you need a Renderosity account to be able to see the entries and vote for them. But if you happen to have one, take a look at all the entries and vote for the ones you like the most.

Hopefully, my works will be among the ones you like most.

Sincerely yours,
AbyssalEros

AbyssalEros invades DeviantArt

After years of lurking silently on DeviantArt without an account, I recently joined the world’s greatest art community.

It was on my to-do-list for a long while, but somehow, I could never find the time to set up an account. However, recent events encouraged me to finally create one.

As you know, I am not only a writer but also a fledgling 3D artist, and for that, I need a portfolio.

While I personally give a shit about false morals, I took care not to show off images on my personal website which could be regarded by moralists as porn; I even set up an age-gate in front of my website to clearly indicate that my page includes content for an adult audience.

Apparently, that was not sufficient for at least one forum moderator at a certain 3D content store, who regarded my signature links to my website and to my Patreon page as a violation of their TOS and deleted them — after one year.

In my opinion, this decision was totally arbitrary, and the moderator even contradicted himself by telling me that linking to DeviantArt is allowed as it “covers a wide range of topics,” while Patreon would not be permitted due to the nature of my sites that are “strongly oriented towards the type of content that we cannot allow.” I am sure he did not even bothered to check my pages if I am really violating their TOS, or he would not have written such nonsense.

I learned my lessons long ago, not to argue with prudes and SJW more than necessary, as their minds are too limited anyway.

Now, enough rambling.

I herewith announce that the gates of my Realms have opened up on DeviantArt.

Check it out!

Sincerely yours,
AbyssalEros

1st place in 2020 Writers Halloween Contest

Well met, friends.

The last weeks were very stressful for me for various reasons.

I even forgot to inform you that I made first place in this year’s annual Halloween writers contest over at Renderosity.

Heartfelt demonic thanks to all who voted for my story. I am so joyful that so many liked my story version of this year’s theme of Costumes, Cauldrons & Concoctions.

All the winners are gathered within a Community featurette. I dare you to take a look at all the other contributions — the stories and everything else.

Personally, I hugely enjoyed reading Remedies from mikegothorp, but all the other entries are worth your time also.

And huge thanks to the staff at Renderosity and all the sponsors for staging this awesome annual contest.

I will post the story next year in English and German on my website, but until then, please check out the contest entry, Return of the Witches, at Renderosity.

Sincerely yours,
AbyssalEros

Happy Halloween 2020

It is that scary time of pumpkins and cosplaying, once more.

This night, the doors to the otherworld are easiest to open, especially if you have prepared the right signs for crossing the borders.

Whatever there will come through these doors, may it bring you scary fun – or lewd fun.

As our world is going down the tubes right now, may the otherworld enlighten us for a while. Locked away in our homes, let us shuffle through our shelves to find a storybook to grab, catch the beverage of our choice, and visit the world behind the pages.

Sincerely yours,
AbyssalEros
